2 AG Outings, 1 AG Studio Session, and 1 AG-Cos completed since taking my outings private. Another AG-Cos in the pipeline, and more AGs too. The Get-Together was our biggest and best ever, with 23 friends showing up. 3 SYPA winners, 3 Photonx moderators (our best photogs), 4 cosplayers, and so many other friends, thank you for coming, and I hope you learnt a lot and had fun!

At least everyone's in agreement that we all want to keep improving and grow. Not stay stuck like those crapsnappers, tangsnappers and what-nots. And it is heartening to see how everyone is responding on the forum. constructive comments, and improving all the time. And to see different approaches already. Even those who attended the studio lighting session are already using the lighting techniques, barely a day later!

We also got a very funny-looking black rabbit shot during the studio session, hahah. And the 2004 IRC slander by a particular Cannot-user, G****n was shared, likewise the now deleted IR thread, and Nick Lee Jong Seng's story. Thanks, dear friends, for keeping those to show everyone.

"Why make AG-Cos so exclusive?" - a question posed to Staci, and forwarded to me.
Because it is good, probably the best, with good cosplayers and great places and PDG photography. That's a fact. But we go totally private now to avoid the nuisance of crappers and pests.

Yes, we've moved the mainstream AG Outings over into a much more peaceful and comfortable place. No more morons and idiots to harass or shift my threads all over the place. No more nuisance goons to stalk me or my 3 co-organisers. We've already had a couple of outings without incident (or idiot PMs for that matter).

Some of the girls asked me why I stopped posting in the cafe, too. Honestly, that place is messy and childish. Just on occasion, check for PMs from a couple of friends in there, I don't even bother to read the threads anymore. Garion, Lanlong, Usagi and gang want to continue their nonsense, that's their loss.

Lastly, I have to congratulate the SYPA Archi Award winners for 2008. We are proud of you! That's 2 in a row! Aloysius, Abel, Timmy, G, Justin, Kenneth, Ren Hui, Bryan, Nora, Beng Chye, Zhiliang, that's what you all missed. Attitude and effort takes one a loooonnnng way, crap-snapping and whining won't get you anywhere. I'm glad to have dropped the lot of you, too.

We all wonder what's with the unhappiness. I only talk about my outings in my own threads. I occasionally give (very unwanted, it seems) critique. I point out errors by idiots.

IR Gang got a hate-on. Then my multiple exposures thread got thrown out of Alternate into Abstracts. And the posts inside are mostly Holga pics. Obvious, isn't it?
The series of hate-PMs and hate-emails from obvious jackasses from those 3 boards.

2008
Jealousy attempts by various idiots like garion with his thread about groups. Others like the unagi and the lanlong trying to fan the flames or something, with a direct link at my outing threads. Fabiandodo launches personal attacks.

Now
I had promised a revamp of the AG Outings blog. It is. Fully replaced with a private little place for all our goodies. If they want to continue to whine and cry, that's their problem.

This rant is the last in this place.
(But somebody is bound to feel unhappy about it as usual, not my problem)

New start, new face, new place

Yep. It is all new. As promised.

And if you are looking for reasons to find fault just because you have been jealous for the last 3-4 months, try harder.

My outings will still continue. And you will continue to see gorgeous photos from them, perhaps making you even more envious? I'm sure.

AG-Cos has set a new benchmark of both fantastic places and fantastic pics. AG Outings have always been great, moreso now than ever. And you can't see them!
